This collaboration begins with a pilot project applying biochar to rice farming land, serving as a strong foundation for building a deeper and long-term partnership going forward.
The agreement was signed by Kiagus Andre Zailani (Managing Director & Co-founder) on behalf of Planet Carbon and Bambang Cahyo Susilo (CFO & CO-founder) representing Eratani, as part of a broader climate solution supporting global net-zero targets by 2050 and Indonesia’s target by 2060 (or earlier)
Beyond its climate impact, this initiative leverages biochar to improve soil health and productivity, with the key objective of enhancing farmers’ welfare throughout Indonesia.
This collaboration reflects a collective commitment to creating meaningful impact: “climate impact” for a better planet and “social impact” for the agricultural sector, especially farmers, who remain a vital pillar of Indonesia’s food security.
