Planet Carbon has just signed a new partnership with PT Anugerah Citra Energi (ACE) for a biochar carbon project in South Sumatra, Indonesia.
This project will convert biomass from various plantation sectors as waste management, while also serving as a climate solution and delivering real agronomic benefits for agriculture and plantations.
Together with ACE, we are targeting the production of biochar that can reduce emissions by over 200,000 tCO₂e over the next 15 years. Beyond that, we aim to secure carbon removal certification and generate high-integrity carbon removal credits.
Despite being a company at an early stage, Planet Carbon has already signed its third biochar carbon removal project with partners, a milestone that reinforces our commitment to tackling the climate crisis while supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
