Planet Carbon was invited to participate in the Indonesia Net-Zero Summit 2025 (INZS 2025), an annual conference organized by the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) that brings together policymakers, business leaders, and climate innovators to accelerate Indonesia’s transition toward net zero. With more than 6,000 participants, the forum reflected both the growing momentum for climate action and the urgency to scale proven solutions.

Representing Planet Carbon, Co-founder Ridzki Kramadibrata spoke in a session titled “Turning Crisis into Hope: How Climate-Tech Can Drive Real Solutions.” The discussion highlighted biochar as a scalable climate technology that addresses multiple challenges simultaneously, reducing emissions, removing carbon permanently from the atmosphere, and restoring degraded soils.

The session emphasized how biochar-based carbon removal transforms agricultural and plantation waste into long-term climate and economic value. By locking carbon into the soil for hundreds of years while improving soil health and crop productivity, biochar demonstrates how climate solutions can be both environmentally effective and economically viable, especially for vulnerable and rural communities.

INZS 2025 reinforced the importance of expanding awareness and adoption of high-integrity climate technologies. Platforms like this play a vital role in mobilizing broader participation and accelerating solutions such as biochar that can turn today’s climate challenges into tangible, long-term impact.
